Cleanaway has aligned with Close the Loop® to provide a unique collection and recycling service for imaging consumables including ALL inkjet and toner cartridges, toner bottles, drum kits and PCU's from ALL brands of photocopiers, faxes and printers.  This service is offered to current and new customers at no charge and guarantees zero waste to landfill. All consumables are returned to Close the Loop‘s factory for sorting, recycling and the recovery of raw materials.

Here's how it works

Step 1 - Registration

To obtain this free collection service, simply email your request to closetheloop@cleanaway.com.au and a Cleanaway representative will contact, and register, you for the program.

Once registered, you will receive a starter kit, consisting of: 

• a Collection Box
• 16 pre-labelled liners
• an instruction sheet
• an A4 poster showing what can be recycled

Step 2 - Setting up the Collection Box Assemble the box (as per instruction sheet). Remove TWO bin liners and place the spare liners and ties in the bottom of the box. Then insert the TWO bin liners, folding the top of the liner over the edge of the box (TWO liners must be used at all times for added reinforcement during the transportation of the waste). Step 3 - Full bag ... As soon as the bin is full, you will need to organise a pickup. Make sure you remove both bin liners and secure with the ties provided. Once you have removed the full bag, immediately insert the next two liners. We only collect the bags, you keep the box! If you run out of liners, let us know and we will dispatch more to you.  Place the full bag in the pre-arranged location for the courier.

Step 4 - Collection

Phone Close the Loop on 03 9930 8600 or email pickup@closetheloop.com.au providing details of the company, identification number (located on the bag) and pick-up details.

A courier will arrive in days. Alternatively, if you have an internal mailroom and reply paid is an option, then leave your bag with the mailroom and Australia Post will return it to us - again at no cost to you.
