Beware of fraudulent emails claiming to be from Cleanaway
Scammers are impersonating Cleanaway and sending fraudulent emails advising customers of new bank account details. While these emails may look legitimate, they are fraudulent and come from non-Cleanaway email addresses.
Cleanaway has not changed its bank account details.
If you are a Cleanaway customer and you receive an email requesting payment to a different account or through a different payment method, do not process the payment. Instead, please contact your Cleanaway account manager or our Customer Service team immediately to verify the request.
To protect yourself from fraud:
- Always verify payment details by calling your Cleanaway account manager or our Customer Service team on 13 13 39.
- Be cautious of unexpected emails requesting changes to banking information.
- Check sender details carefully – scammers often use email addresses that look similar to ours.
